Brick Township High School
Asbestos Sub-chapter 8 Design, ASCM Occupied Building Project Monitoring and Project Close-out
Boiler replacements and heating system upgrades for the Brick Township High School were scheduled for the Summer of 2015, and required the removal of all asbestos from the East and West Boiler Rooms & demolition of the boilers under containment, as asbestos was identified inside the boilers. This required project design through a licensed Asbestos Safety Control Monitoring firm and the subsequent monitoring for compliance as a friable removal within two (2) separate full containments under occupied building conditions. This incorporated intensive building wide sampling and analysis by an AAR accredited on-site analyst. At the project’s completion, RJB authored a comprehensive remediation close-out report.
